We got these dog pads for a large dog with CKD, and she would wet her bed nightly til I was able to reverse the SYMPTOMS OF INCONTINENCE not the disease itself by removing dry dog food (miraculously her labs improved from level 2 to 1) look up natural ckd dog diets & confer with your vet as I did, she was against it at 1st but changed her mind after the 3rd blood lab in 6 weeks.. Hannah stil has ups n downs but is much better than the vet predicted.Anyhow, we have plushy type dog beds and tho these have a nice grippy bottom layer it stil shifted around quite a bit when Hannah pawed her bed trying to get comfy.I like these a lot, we have them in different sizes and I have used them as a layer under another elasticized bed cover to keep in place and provide leak protection.I think they are best on the floor or sofa, flat beds etc as once a dog steps on it on a soft bed it bunches up stiffly. Or as a under layer as I use it. All in all very useful. Washes well in warm water, I line dry after reading reviews, and its held up for several washes just fine. Its strong and stiff material. A good buy?
